As children are at an early development stage in life and a lot more delicate than adults, doctors have to determine the best treatment program that would help each child fight his or her cancer. Over-treating the children may lead to late-effects in life, while under-treating could result in relapses. Every child is different and precision in diagnosing the child is paramount in ensuring the right amount of treatment is given to each child.<\/p><p>In December 2013, a key discovery was made by two doctors, one of them being VIVA-Goh Foundation Associate Professor Allen Yeoh.
