Do I need a Visa to enter Malaysia?
Malaysia offers visa-free entry for nationals of many countries and territories for short-term visits. The permitted duration of stay varies depending on nationality and may range from 14 to 90 days.
To check whether you require a visa to enter Malaysia, please visit the official Immigration Department of Malaysia website or the official eVISA portal:
Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
Effective from 1 January 2024, most foreign nationals entering Malaysia are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within three (3) days before arrival.
The MDAC is not a visa. Travelers who require a visa must still obtain the appropriate visa before entering Malaysia.
