Professor Wing Leung, MBBS PhD, is the Head of the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. Previously, he was a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins University, University of Tennessee, and Duke-National University of Singapore. He was the Chair of Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Senior Consultant in Hematology and Oncology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and Vice President of Clinical Development at Miltenyi Biotec and Biomedicine. Prof. Leung is a diplomate certified in general pediatrics and in pediatric hematology-oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He has a major research interest in the biology of human natural killer cells and memory T cells, specifically the clinical applications in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. His research received continuous funding from the National Institutes of Health. He is an elected Member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
