Nurses
VIVA recognises the importance of nurses and other allied health professionals in the continuum of care for children with cancer. Nurses contribute clinical expertise, continuity of care, compassionate support, and advocacy for patients and their families.
To encourage professional growth, VIVA supports nurse training, participation in regional and international conferences, and excellence-in-nursing awards. By equipping nurses with the skills and knowledge they need, VIVA helps ensure that children with cancer receive the highest standard of care.

Working with children with cancer continually reminds me of their extraordinary resilience and courage throughout their treatment journey.
The support from the VIVA–Goh Foundation Grant enabled me to complete my Master of Nursing at the Alice Lee School of Nursing Studies, NUS. This training equipped me to serve as a paediatric Advanced Practice Nurse and now, as Assistant Director of Nursing, to further strengthen the quality of care and mentorship within our paediatric oncology nursing team.
