Professor Dario Campana leads VIVA and NUS’s efforts into using Cancer Immunotherapy to treat children with cancer.

The normal job of a body’s immune system is to protect us from infections. However, research has increasingly shown that this immune system also could have the potential to fight cancer cells. The tricky part is how to harness that potential and activate it to fight cancer. Professor Dario’s research focuses on how to achieve this.
