VIVA-Goh Foundation Professorship in Paediatric Oncology

The VIVA-Goh Foundation Professorship in Paediatric Oncology was established to advance excellence in paediatric cancer research, clinical care, and medical education. Made possible through the generous support of the Goh Foundation and contributions raised under the VIVA Paediatric Oncology Fund, this professorship strengthens Singapore’s leadership in childhood cancer treatment through translational and clinical research, clinician training, and academic leadership.

In 2012, through this professorship, Professor Yeoh leads advancements in paediatric oncology, particularly in childhood leukaemia, cell-based therapies, sarcomas, and survivorship care. His work continues to shape Singapore’s paediatric cancer treatment landscape and drive regional collaboration across Asia.

As of 31 December 2024, a total of 72 patients (51 children, 21 adults) have received CAR-T therapy under the programme supported by philanthropic and grant funding.

Professor Yeoh’s leadership has elevated Singapore’s position in paediatric oncology, setting new standards in clinical innovation and training the next generation of paediatric cancer specialists. His contributions continue to influence global treatment strategies and bring new hope to children and families affected by cancer.
