VIVA Storytelling Sessions

There are many interesting stories for children on social media that are freely accessible. However, they lack the interactive elements for a child to meet the story-tellers and other children.

The main purpose of this initiative is to help children with cancer forget about the illness and the stress for a moment, with doses of fun that help them deal with range of emotions they may experience, especially those hospitalised: fear, anxiety, loneliness, boredom.

We hope that this activity will help to lift the moods of patients, as well as their families, with the positive power of hope, creating a positive emotional state. We also hope the story-telling will enhance interaction with story-tellers, other children, as well as between parents and their child, around the stories being told.
